Ikea's Shenzhen store will open at European City today, making it Ikea's fifth store in China after it opened stores in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu.
Located at European City, Nanshan District, Shenzhen, the new store covers an area about 30,000 square meters and has 66 different model rooms covering more than 7,500 practical products to meet the different needs of customers. At the same time, there are three complete "homes" in the Ikea Shenzhen European City store. Different from common model rooms, those homes have all important elements, including living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen and bathroom, which can offer an overall home solution to customers.
In addition, a Swedish restaurant is also included in the store. With 660 seats, delicious Swedish food and unlimited refills of coffee, customers can relax while shopping.
After more than 50 years of development, Ikea has 276 stores in 36 countries and regions. From 1998 to 2006, Ikea respectively opened stores in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu.
