A unified "Green Cross" sign for national pharmaceutical retail companies has been launched recently and the first ten units that will use this mark have been designated.
A green cross has long been the sign for drugstores in China, but it has not had a unified style. As the trademark owner of "Green Cross", the China Association of Pharmaceutical Commerce has applied for and obtained a certificate of registration for the sign from the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
So far, ten pharmaceutical retail chains with a credit rating above level A have been chosen to be the first to use this unified "Green Cross" mark. The rights to use the "Green Cross" are not permanent. If drugstores have consumer complaints about serious quality problems or receive a criticism in a circulating notice, the right to use will be terminated.
In addition, "Green Cross" logos that do not meet these requirements must be removed.
