The Guangzhou-based department store retailer GrandBuy has opened its first outlet in Shenzhen.
This was also GrandBuy's fourth department store to be opened in 2009, following those in Huizhou, Jieyang, and Maoming. Currently the company is operated 20 outlets under two department store brand names.
Located in Baoneng City Plaza, GrandBuy's Shenzhen outlet is a three-floor department store that covers a business area of 26,000 square meters. Integrating shopping and leisure, it will be established as a shopping plaza that provides various products, including cosmetics, watches, apparel, and home appliances. In addition, ancillary facilities like Starbucks will be introduced into this new department store.
A representative from GrandBuy told local media that the potential for business development and consumption is among the highest in Guangdong and GrandBuy's entry into Shenzhen is seen as a strategic move.
