Global leading cosmetics group L'Oreal announced that Fabrice Megarbane will become new CEO of L'Oreal China; meanwhile, current CEO Stephane Rinderknech will be promoted to other important role in the group.
It is said that Megarbane will formally assume the position on July 1, 2019 and he will also be promoted as a member of L'Oreal Group's management committee.
Megarbane joined L'Oreal Group in 2000 and he was appointed general manager of L'Oreal Paris Lebanon in 2008. With outstanding performance, he was later promoted to general manager of mass cosmetics unit of Africa and Middle East region and general manager of L'Oreal Germany.
With this appointment, Megarbane will become the fourth CEO of L'Oreal China, following Paolo Gasparrini, Alexis Perakis, and Stephane Rinderknech.
