Chinese coffee brand luckin coffee recently announced personnel changes and appointed new chairman for the company.
The company held an extraordinary general meeting on July 5, 2020 and held a board meeting on July 12, 2020. According to decisions made during the extraordinary general meeting, Yang Jie and Zeng Ying were appointed independent directors of the company; meanwhile, Li Hui, Liu Erhai, Lu Zhengyao, and Shao Xiaoheng would no longer be directors of the company.
According to decisions made during the board meeting, Cha Yang and Liu Feng were appointed independent directors of the company. Guo Jin, former director and acting CEO, was appointed chairman and CEO of luckin coffee.
After the above changes, luckin coffee currently has five independent directors and three managing directors.
