Hong Kong-based health and beauty products retail chain Mannings has made a low-key entry into the Beijing market.
Currently, the brand, which is one of the two major players in Hong Kong (Watsons is the other) has four outlets in the Chinese capital. These are located in Joy City, Gemdale Plaza, Jusco, and Beijing South railway station.
Featuring a common store design and low-price own brand products, the four Mannings stores focus on health and beauty products such as health food, beverages, skin care products, cosmetics, fashion commodities, and male grooming products.
Mannings belongs to the large-scale retail conglomerate Hong Kong Dairy Farm Group, whose business extends all over Asia. The group owns over 4,300 stores around the world and it manages many retail brands, including Wellcome, Ikea, 7-Eleven, and Starbucks.
